Hello All. We have had a nice week here decrompressing at home after our holiday travels. Between James arriving, moving, and then diving immediately into teaching fall term, Christine and I were both pretty worn out by the time we got back to Rock Island after Thanksgiving.
This past week was nice as all I had to do was play Shostakovich 10 in the evenings with the Quad Cities Symphony. Other than that I had free time during the day to finish the fence in the backyard for Portia and do some yard work. We had an ice storm on Saturday that was interesting. It hit fast and hard. Scraping the car off was an ordeal. That evening there was a very sparse audience at the QCSO concert. Anyway, by Sunday things had warmed up a bit and we had a great crowd at yesterday's matinee.
We started the Winter Term at Augustana today so it was back to teaching for Christine and I.
I had a nice afternoon with James while Christine taught from 3-6PM. James took a nice long nap and then miraculously woke up happy and full of smiles.
All for now,
Jemmie

He is adorable! His daddy, however, makes some strange sounds. Perhaps he needs a tuneup?
Ditto that. He is adorable.
I got to see james giggle and his dad snort. Christine enjoyed the secene also. It was great to see that beautiful child recently and go along for his first swimming experience also.
